Entering into therapy can be intimidating. I strive to make this process as comfortable and rewarding as possible. Together, we will endeavor to find a therapeutic model that best suits your needs.
I am a licensed master social worker who believes in the power of collaboration when working to achieve one’s goals. My practice is holistic and focuses on self-determination and empowerment. I hope to help facilitate a deeper understanding of the self, your needs and desires, and to cultivate acceptance so you can have a life you can live with and thrive in.
I use a variety of modalities to guide trauma treatment, explore identity, overcome shame, build self-esteem, and improve interpersonal communication & conflict resolution skills.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ youth, adults, couples, multi-partnered relationships, and families who are
- experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma
- having relationship, life transition, or emotional difficulties
- practicing or interested in practicing consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, kink, BDSM, and/or sex work
- neurodivergent and transgender, gender non-conforming, and/or non-binary
- caregivers wanting guidance and support regarding how to support their LGBTQIA+ child
- survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and/or hate crimes
- survivors of religious trauma
As a Queer person who has sought out my own therapy, I know how difficult it can be to find an affirming therapist. I also understand the importance of recognizing and acknowledging individuality and personal experience in all its forms. If your identity isn’t central to your therapeutic goals, know that every part of you will be welcome in our work.
Whatever your reasons are for seeking therapy, you are welcome here.
